Live performance by UK’s leading artists with Down’s Syndrome.

THE ENDANGERED is a performance in dance, theatre and improvisation by award-winning artists Tommy Jessop, Sarah Gordy and Holly Riseborough.

THE ARTISTS:

Sarah Gordy is a British actress, performer, model and principal dancer with Culture Device Dance Project. She is best known for her portrayal of Lady Pamela Holland in the 2010 BBC TV series of Upstairs Downstairs. Gordy also starred in a series three episode of BBC One production Call the Midwife.

Tommy Jessop is a British actor and dancer. He is the first actor with Down’s Syndrome to star in a prime-time BBC TV drama; the BAFTA-nominated Coming Down the Mountain written by Mark Haddon. He has since filmed several feature films, taken the lead in various short films and played significant roles on television and radio. He recently returned from playing Don Pedro in a touring production of Much Ado About Nothing 2015. Tommy features in the award-winning BBC documentary Growing Up Down’s which was nominated for an International Emmy: Best Documentary.

Holly Riseborough is an Elite Artistic gymnast who has competed in two Special Olympics National games and in 2015 excelled in her performances, representing Great Britain at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. Holly is currently studying Performing Arts Dance at City College Coventry. Holly does Contemporary dance with the Performing Arts Service Youth Dance in Coventry having performed in various festivals. Holly is also an actor with Ego Performance and is currently working on an original production.
